“Working with McFarland Technology allowed us to stabilize a software platform that is central to testing muscle strength outcome measures in clinical trials of muscular dystrophy. McFarland Technology provided key expertise that we were unable to find elsewhere to trouble-shoot and improve software technology. Their efforts have clearly enhanced our ability as an academic multi-center network to advance clinical research for patients with muscular dystrophy and their families.”

Seaport Enhanced / Contract: N00178-14-D-7388
To meet Sea Power 21 objectives and to increase efficiency, the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Warfare Centers established the Seaport Enhanced (Seaport-e) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) vehicle. This contract vehicle utilizes a web-based, e-business procurement portal to facilitate performance-based service acquisition, leverage buying power, improve business intelligence, and reduce cycle time.
The ordering community of Seaport-e was expanded in 2004 to include all Virtual Systems Command (SYSCOM) activities. Other activities, including the Military Sealift Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and the United States Marine Corps have also chosen to use Seaport-e.
McFarland Technology, Inc. will provide services in response to task orders issued under this contract by the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the United States Marine Corps that potentially span the entire spectrum of mission areas supported by the activities and technical capabilities that comprise the various ordering offices. Additionally, activities may provide limited support under this contract to other U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), non-DOD, or joint agencies for work that is integrally related to product areas and mission.
More information about the Seaport-e program, including points of contact, may be obtained by visiting the US Navy Seaport-e web site.
McFarland Technology, Inc. was notified on November 20, 2013 that our company had received a Seaport-e prime contract award. Our company received contract documents, including Contract N00178-14-D-7388, and the first task order, which provided information about the minimum obligation under the contract, on December 20, 2013.
